Eighty Sixed is hiring a motivated artist / product designer to join our team and assist us with designing awesome merchandise for the video game industry! Work with us remotely or on location in our Las Vegas, NV office. Full time, part time and freelance positions available.
Responsibilities
✓ Work with our design team to create high quality product designs and illustrations for several of our licensed brands.
✓ Conceptualize and create compelling designs for a variety of products.
✓ Provide rough sketches to demonstrate ideas and concepts.
✓ Incorporate changes recommended by our Art Director.
✓ Accurately set schedules and work well with deadlines.
Requirements
✓ 2+ years of experience designing for one or more type of products.
✓ Familiarity of the graphic design process and the ability to work with a limited color palette.
✓ A firm understanding of design principles, typography and design theory.
✓ Proficient in industry standard illustration software like Photoshop, Illustrator or Clip Studio Paint.
✓ Strong understanding or ability to learn the use of internal communication platforms such as Slack.
✓ A well rounded understanding of video games and love for geek culture.
The Role
As a Brand & Marketing Designer, you'll work closely with our Creative Lead and Marketing Director to design visuals that support product launches, marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing ads, landing page graphics, email visuals, social media content, brand systems, and promotional materials.
Responsibilities
✓ Design marketing graphics for product launches, promotions, and campaigns
✓ Create paid ad creative for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Google
✓ Design email marketing graphics and layouts
✓ Help develop brand kits and visual systems for Eighty Sixed and our other brands
✓ Design social media assets and promotional graphics
✓ Assist with packaging layout and product presentation graphics
✓ Create visual assets for conventions and events (booth signage, promotional materials)
✓ Maintain organized design files and asset libraries
✓ Ensure all designs remain consistent with brand standards
Who You Are
✓ 2–5 years of experience in graphic design, marketing design, or brand design
✓ Strong portfolio showcasing marketing, advertising, and brand design work
✓ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
✓ Familiarity with Figma, Canva, or other modern design tools
✓ Experience designing digital ads and marketing creatives
✓ Strong layout and typography skills
✓ Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
✓ Comfortable collaborating with marketing, creative, and leadership teams
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
✓ Experience with Shopify storefront design
✓ Familiarity with gaming, anime, or pop culture brands
✓ Experience with UX and UI design for web and mobile applications

Eighty Sixed is looking for a talented freelance content creator, with strong knowledge of video games and geek culture, to help us develop quality and original video content for our social media - specifically short form video content for TikTok and Instagram Stories / Reels
Responsibilities / Requirements
✓ Familiarity with our lineup of licenses and product offerings.
✓ The ability to do research on specific games and characters and how they relate to the products we've developed.
✓ Strong communication skills with relatively quick response times.
✓ Video filming and editing skills, particularly as is required for short form video content on Tiktok and Instagram.
✓ Timely submit proposals / ideas for content and work with our marketing team to build on those ideas.
✓ Strong organizational skills.
✓ A strong understanding and experience of video games, particularly those which we make products for, is required.

Eighty Sixed is looking for a talented, highly motivated freelance photographer, with a strong knowledge of video games and geek culture, to assist us remotely with our product and brand imagery. Help us create high quality on-brand photoshoots for our multiple licensing brand partners as well as our line up of original fashion/clothing merchandise.
Responsibilities / Requirements
✓ Familiarity with our lineup of licenses and product offerings.
✓ The ability to do research on specific games and characters and how they relate to the products we've developed.
✓ Strong communication skills with relatively quick response times.
✓ Experience working as a professional photographer with a good eye for composition and colors.
✓ An ability to find, hire and schedule models for photoshoots.
✓ An ability to scout for locations (local to you) to find areas that are on-brand with products, games and characters of the photoshoot.
✓ Familiarity with photo editing techniques to ensure that product colors are displayed accurately in the final photos.
